Safe Drive Stay Alive

Free  online viewing of a new, digital version of Safe Drive Stay Alive, Surrey, on Wednesday 18 November 2020.  More details in the attached Invitation.

Safe Drive Stay Alive (SDSA) is an emotionally engaging and thought provoking education production, coordinated by Surrey Fire & Rescue Service, working with emergency service partners, which aims to raise road safety awareness amongst young people and positively influence their attitudes, both as a driver and as a passenger.

SDSA, in Surrey, began in March 2005 and, as of November 2019, 160 000 young people, aged 16 – 19, and their teachers, from Surrey schools, colleges, youth groups and army bases have seen one of 267 performances. The performances are normally delivered as a live, theatre-based format at Dorking Halls, Dorking, with a host, where speakers give live testimonies, alternating with pre-recorded films. However, due to COVID-19 these theatre based productions are not possible this year.
