Sutton and East Surrey Water Control this evening have advised as follows:   Due to the main water pumping main "blowing" at Blindly Heath this morning. There has been a severe drop in water pressure effecting the area including Bletchingley.  Engineers are working on the problem and have advised that after "drawing off" the water pressure will increase at around 10pm this evening although not completely returning to full pressure until the morning.  The water supply may become discoloured and it is recommended that it should not be used during this incident.

The water supply is not "shut off" to Bletchingley.  This is purely a knock on effect from this mornings water incident.
