St Catherine's School joined forces with Godstone School in a protest march on Saturday 2nd February 2008.  They met at Godstone Green at 9.30 and marched to Oxted School.  The event was very well organised by Godstone school and well attended by Godstone school parents with a small contingent from St Catherine's.  Good fun was had by all and Oxted school very kindly provided refreshments at the other end.

St Catherine's School urges parents to make their feelings and views known as the proposed changes mean that children from Bletchingley and Godstone will be permanently excluded from attending Oxted County.  An e-mail account has been set up where you can register your views.  The address for this is:  oxtedcatchment@amuletuk.com  Please add your contribution.

All schools concerned in this part of Tandridge, including Oxted School itself, are against the proposed changes and have submitted an alternative proposal to Surrey County Council.
