Each has their own area of responsibility. Together they will endeavour to meet the requirements of the residents and try to bridge the gap between the residents and the larger local authorities.

Moved to Bletchingley with her family 25 years ago, while an archaeological botanist at London's Institute of Archaeology. In 1984 she was elected to the Parish Council, and since then her main council responsibilities have concerned mineral workings and waste disposal. Past vice-chairman and chairman (1993-7) of the Parish Council. She was a governor of St Catherine's School for many years. Now retired, currently she is a member of Bletchingley Bowling Club, our local Historical & Conservation Society and Blechingley WI. She sings with 2 local choral societies and is attempting to find more time for water-colour painting.

Kenneth Charles Bridger currently residing in Bletchingley for the past eighteen years with wife Elizabeth. Previously lived for a number of years in Sussex and Kent. Educated at a private school before gaining a scholarship to a Grammar School. Most of business life in banking and accountancy. Retired in 1993 from one of the largest privately owned companies in the country. A member of the Bletchingley Bowls Club. Served on the Parish Council for the last four years. Chairman of the South East Area Association of the National Trust. Treasurer and Publicity of Shaws Corner Literary Society. Involved in a number of other voluntary organisations outside the village. Elizabeth is a Bletchingley School Governorn and very active in music with her own choir and sings with a local Choral Society.

Moved to Bletchingley in 1970. Retired assistant chief probation officer. Bletchingley Parish Councillor since 1979; past vice chairman and chairman.
Currently responsible for planning issues. Since 1986 a Trustee of Bletchingley United Charities and chairman since 1990. Trustee of Village Hall since 1989. Committee member Royal British Legion Bletchingley branch. Founding member and past chairman Bletchingley Historical and Conservation Society.
Involved in chairing and running various Youth Groups in the village 1971 to 2003. Since retirement a Volunteer with Victim Support Croydon specialising in Criminal Injury Compensation cases and helping families bereaved through murder and manslaughter.
Leisure interests history, reading and walking. Married with 2 children 5 grandchildren.

Having been involved in the teaching profession for twenty five years, where I obtained an M.A. in Education, I eventually retired as a Special Needs Adviser. I am married with two children and six grandchildren. I am a member of East Surrey Choral Society. I have lived in Bletchingley for 12 years, and held the position of Parish Clerk for four years. On retirement from that position, I was co-opted onto the Council in March 2006. My current Areas of Responsibility on the Council are Recreation and Allotments. I am responsible for the maintenance of Stychens Playground and have organised the Competition for the Best Kept Allotment for the past three years.

Neil is a resident of Bletchingley, married with two children and is an active member of Bletchingley Village Fair Committee. Neil is a qualified commercial electrician and CORGI registered for commercial catering gas equipment and works daytimes for a catering service company based near Gatwick. Neil also has his own business "Music and Lights / Outdoor Sound Company" and is involved with sound and lighting for various events and productions. Neil is involved also with radio broadcasting and has been using a microphone since age 12 from presenting discos for his school youth club, Hospital Radio and eventually Independent Local Radio (ILR) and BBC radio in the late 1980's as primarily a "Movie" Reviewer. Neil also commentated for an aerial display team in the 90's and broadcast on many RSL (Restricted service licensed) radio stations including local community radio. Neil has also has worked behind the scenes "Tech Opp-ing" the network chart for ILR and fronting many Radio Roadshows. Neil still presents and commentates regularly at steam rallies, classic car shows and fetes throughout the summer months and is always quite happy to chat if you can keep up!

I have lived in Bletchingley for 10 years. I help to run the Welcome Club and am on call for the village transport scheme and for the Lunch Club. I am also on the Village Hall Management Committee. I am a keen golfer and a member of Bletchingley Golf Club.

Robert Trotman is 68 and he and his wife Katharine have lived in Bletchingley since 1968. They have 4 grown up children, all of whom attended St Catherine's School, Bletchingley. He has been a member of the Parish Council since 1983 (chairman 1983-87 and 1999-2003). He is currently chairman of the Bletchingley Sports Association, chairman of the Village Hall (Bletchingley) Trust and treasurer of the local Perkins Almhouse Trust. He sings in the parish church choir and is a former churchwarden of the parish church. His wife is a governor of St Catherine's School.

Clerk to the Parish
Moved to Bletchingley in 1996. Have 2 children who attend the local school. Took on the position of Clerk in February 2006 to enable me to work around my children rather than return to working in London. Have run the local Bletchingley Infants and Toddler Group which meets on Monday mornings for the last 2 years
