The Welcome Club (originally the Darby & Joan Club) for the over 60′s meets on the first Wednesday afternoon of every month (except August) in the Community Centre from 2pm to 4pm.

Members will not pay an annual fee and we will not arrange speakers.  We will have a quiz, raffle, afternoon tea and cake, perhaps an activity and members, most importantly, will have a chance to chat to each other.  To cover the cost of the tea and the hire of the hall a charge of £2 per session will be necessary.  This does mean that we will not have actual “members” and so anyone who wishes can call in when we are meeting and bring friends or neighbours, and others from the Wednesday lunch may sometimes like to stay on for another cup of tea.  Everyone will always be very welcome. Please do invite any friends or neighbours who might like to join us.
