The main aim of the Bletchingley Village Fair Committee is to raise funds to hold the fair itself.
We organise three events per year starting with Race Night, which is always the last Saturday in February, where we raise money to cover the costs of the fair and the Old Folks Christmas Do (with any funds remaining after these two events being used for good causes around the village).
Next is the Fair itself, which is always held on the last Sunday in June on Grange Meadow, opposite the Bletchingley Arms. There we have commercial pitches (£25), charity pitches (£10), rides and games and professional performances in the central arena. The Fair opens at 12.30 following the May Queen Parade through the village.
Bletchingley Village Fair has something for all the family, with performances, music, Beer tent, Punch and Judy shows, and of course, many interesting stalls and games. The weather will be warm and sunny, of course, so make it a date in your diary now.
The last event of the year is the Old Folks Christmas Do which is held at the Red Lion P.H. and provides a jolly seasonal get together for the over-65’s in the village.”
