The first aim of the Bletchingley Village Fair Committee is to raise funds to hold the fair itself.

We presently have three events per year starting with Race Night, where we raise money to cover the costs of the fair and the Old Folks Christmas Do (with any funds remaining after these two events being used for good causes around the village).

Next is the Fair itself, which is always held on the last Sunday in June on Grange Meadow, opposite the Bletchingley Arms.   There we have commercial pitches (£25), charity pitches (£10), rides and games and professional performances in the central arena. The Fair opens at 12.30 following the May Queen Parade through the village.

Bletchingley Village Fair is on Sunday 25th June this year and will open at 12.30 as usual, We hope to have the May Queen Parade, May Pole Dancing and Gymnastics Display to kick things off followed by other events including the Paws for Thought Dog Display Team. There will, of course, be many interesting stalls and games with BBQ and Beer Tent and Punch & Judy for the little ones. The weather will be warm and sunny, of course, so make it a date in your diary now.

The last event of the year is the Old Folks Christmas Do which is held at the Red Lion P.H. and provides a jolly seasonal get together for the over-65’s in the village.
