A-25 Traffic Action Group (TAG-A25)

An A25 Traffic Action Group (TAG-A25) was set up in October 2011 to campaign against HGV’s coming from Cormongers Lane junction with the A25 and travelling eastwards along the A25 through Nutfield, Bletchingley and Godstone to reach junction 6 of the M25. TAG-A25 involves parish council representation from all 3 villages plus other local groups who are equally concerned about HGV density on the stretch of A25 between Redhill and Godstone.

A traffic flow survey was organized on the 15th of December at Cormongers junction on the A25 to obtain data of vehicle movements.  The survey shows that there has been a 40% increase since 2010 in HGV movements up Cormongers Lane into the busy A25 junction and there will be a further 69% if the Nutfield Marsh development is allowed to go ahead. If you are interested in joining the campaign or making donations to assist in our efforts to stop any further increase in HGV traffic through the villages of Bletchingley, Nutfield and Godstone then please contact Ann Butler info@bletchingley.org.uk
