Covid-19 rates across our district are currently among the highest in Surrey and nationally. Rates are particularly high in school age children and their parents.
Please help stop the spread of the virus by boosting your winter immunity. Get the flu jab and your Covid-19 booster and please:
All children aged 12 to 15 are being offered a first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination. More information on the vaccination for 12 to 15 year olds is available. Most 16 and 17 year olds have had their first Covid-19 vaccine. From Monday 22 November they can receive an additional second dose. Visit www.nhs.uk/Covid-Vaccination, or call 119 for an appointment. There are also walk-in options which you can find on www.nhs.uk/grab-a-jab. Covid-19 booster jabs are now available for those aged over 40. The NHS will contact people directly to let them know when it is their turn to get their booster vaccine. You can find out more on the latest Covid-19 rates on Surrey County Council’s website. Thank you for continuing to be cautious and considerate of others. You are helping keep Surrey safe. |
