Rip-offs, scams, cowboy tradesman – consumers are right to be wary when buying goods and services. Did you know that Surrey County Council Trading Standards can supply you with details of reliable local traders, whatever you need doing this summer?

The Buy with Confidence scheme brings together a huge range of businesses from all over Surrey, who have been thoroughly vetted and approved by your local Trading Standards team.

The scheme has every kind of trader listed from home improvements to gardening, retail, window cleaning, food and drink, health, motors, fashion and beauty, computing, professional services, finance, business to business services and many more. We also have a list of traders specialising in smaller jobs, under £75.

All traders are monitored on an ongoing basis, and you can give us your views on how our members are performing. If you’ve received good service from a non-member you can recommend them for membership.
