Bletchingley Housing Needs Survey

July 2019

Re: Housing Needs Survey

Dear Bletchingley Parish Resident,

Following the completion of the Affordable Housing in Coneybury by Tandridge District Council, Bletchingley Parish Council now have the opportunity to pursue further possibilities for the provision of Affordable Housing for individuals and families with a connection to the Village. Some of you may remember that we held a village exhibition of possible sites a number of years ago to get your comments.

In order to create the possibility of pursuing this matter we have instructed the Rural Housing Enabler, Louise Williams to carry out a Housing Survey to assess and determine as far as possible the accommodation requirements for any of you who may be in need.   We urge you to respond to this Survey which was also posted to every Bletchingley household.

We need as many people as possible to respond even if you don’t personally have a housing need. If you still have your paper copy you can return it to Surrey Community Action in the pre-paid envelope provided; OR you can complete the survey online by clicking on this link

You do not need to be a home owner to participate but you must live in the parish. If you have family members who have recently moved away because they were unable to find suitable accommodation in the parish, then we would like to hear from them.

Surrey Community Action will analyse the survey results on our behalf and will produce a report for us. All personal information, including contact details, will be kept strictly confidential. You do not have to provide your contact details, only if you would like us to keep you up to date with any future developments.

If you have any queries relating to this survey please call Louise Williams at Surrey Community Action on 01483 477141 or email her at

Please Complete this Housing Needs Survey by 31st August 2019

Thanking you in advance for your assistance.
