Save over £1000 a year on household expenses

On Wednesday 21 July at the Oxted Community Hall, Church Lane, Oxted, Tandridge District Council will host a talk from the Consumer Financial Education Body (formerly the Financial Standards Authority), which will show how people can save £1000 a year.

The hour long talk “Making the Most of Your Money” starts at 4.30pm and will cover hints and tips, from comparing costs for gas and electricity, to understanding tax codes. There will be an opportunity to ask questions or talk privately at the end.

The talk, provided free of charge by Consumer Finance Education Body, will be accompanied by leaflets and budget planners for participants to take away.
