Neighbourhood Watch needs you

What’s Neighbourhood Watch All about?

It’s all about being a good neighbour.  Each of us look after a street or a part of one and we aim to:

  • Welcome newcomers to the village and ensure they have someone to call on.
  • Tell them about facilities and provide a contact for further information;
  • Warn neighbours of scams and nearby crime incidents, give advice about how to avoid being a target;
  • Alert police to problems in the area such as bogus callers and provide help if you suffer a crime and don’t know what to do about it.

Unfortunately due to various reasons including people moving out of the village and illness we now have gaps in NHW where we urgently need more volunteers including:

  • Big Common Lane
  • Castle Street from Red Lion to Silver Birches
  • Church Walk
  • Cleves Way (the 10 new rented houses at the top of Coneybury)
  • Coneybury 1 to 30
  • Crescent Road
  • Hart Close
  • High Street 1 [Grange cottage] to 53 (Outwood Road end to opposite Lawrence’s
  • High Street Bletchingley Arms (Millers flat at No.2) to No. 76
  • High Street 54 to 71 and 94 to 132 inc. 80, 84 & 86, Community Centre/Village Hall and Ann’s Walk
