Tandridge Trust have organised a creative programme of activities for 3-16 year olds to try out throughout August.
Try out some Olympic sports including Archery (13 Aug), Fencing (9 & 23 Aug), Go Ride Cycling (7 Aug) in specialist workshops programmed throughout August at de Stafford Sports Centre. Matchpoint Tennis Academy (6 & 13 Aug) in Hurst Green will teach you the serves, smashes, volleys and shots to play like a champion! The adventurous can take their pick from Water sports, Indoor Rock Climbing, Mountain Boarding and the back by popular demand Own a pony day.
Exciting weekly taster courses such as Water Polo (30 Jul – 3 Aug) will be taking place at Tandridge Leisure Centre and Diving (6 – 10 Aug) at de Stafford Sports Centre. If you cannot make your mind up then the
Aquatics Taster Days (7 Aug at de Stafford and 17 Aug at Tandridge Leisure Centre) are free taster sessions in synchronised swimming, water polo and diving!
There is a fantastic Comedy Writers/ Performance workshop for 13-16 year olds and School of Laughs workshop for 8-12 years (both on 16 Aug) to explore joke telling and slapstick comedy. Ever wanted to create and record your own song (14 Aug) or be a radio star of the future in a broadcasting workshop with Susy Radio (24 Aug)? You could even be part of a magical drama performance of The Jungle Book (10 Aug) which is suitable for 8-11 year olds.
