Wow! This year’s Jubilee Fête will be spectacular fun, so please bring your family, friends and neighbours along to support this event which is a fundraiser for the Church House Appeal.
Talented musicians from as young as 8 years old; will be stepping out to entertain us all during the Jubilee celebration.
Ashley and Sarah Hards, who teach music at The Hawthorns School, have agreed to bring an ensemble of guitar and woodwind players to play in the churchyard during the fête.
They have also offered to accompany other budding young musicians (Ashley plays the guitar and Sarah is bringing a portable electric piano) who would like to show off their talent in an ‘open-mic’ style event.
Anyone interested in joining in on the day should arrive with their instrument and music on the day.
These are just some of the stalls:
- Home-made cakes.
- Jams and pickles.
- Guess the Weight of the Cake?
- Name the teddy bear?
- Second-hand toys and books.
- Kids’ Crafts.
- Treasure Hunt.
- Parachuting daredevil teddies (dressed in red, white and blue).*
- Ice Cream Parlour.
- Games for the kids.
* Bring along your teddy bears for the ride of their life!
Do come along and join in the fun of the fête. And if you can wear something red, white and blue so much the better!
