Remembrance Day Parade in Bletchingley

The Remembrance Service this year is on Sunday the 12th of November at the Village War Memorial here in Bletchingley.   The Parade starts at 10.50 am from the Village Hall.  Before the gathering at the War Memorial, the bells will be rung half muffled and again at 11.10 am as those gathered make their way from the Memorial to the Church for the traditional Remembrance Sunday Service.

Chairman of Tandridge District Council, Councillor Gill Black, will be attending the Remembrance Day service at St Mary the Virgin Church, Bletchingley, on Sunday 12 November. She will be accompanied by her Consort Jeff Black and Sam Gyimah MP.

This is just one of the many church services and Remembrance Day parades held throughout the district to commemorate the soldiers, sailors and airmen killed and injured in the two World Wars and all the conflicts since then.

If you are driving around the area on Sunday 12th November please be patient if you are caught up behind a parade.
