Blechingley Conservation & Historical Society

The June meeting of the Blechingley Conservation & Historical Society will be held in the Village Hall on Thursday 8th of June at 8pm. Bob Evans, formally Director of Planning at Tandridge District Council, will talk about “The Defensive installations of Tandridge District from the Iron Age to the Cold War”. This examines why there are so many fortifications, castles, pillboxes, airfields and other features; how effective they were; and what they look like today.

Visitors are welcome at any of the meetings for £2 or become a member for £5. Please call our membership secretary, Jenny Clare on 740156.
