Blechingley Conservation & Historical Society

The March meeting of the Blechingley Conservation & Historical Society will be held in the Village Hall on Thursday 8th March when Daphe Constable will talk about “Bletchingley and the Photographic Survey”. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries a photographic survey of England was collected. The Bletchingley part of this survey is held at the Surrey History Centre in Woking. Daphne will show a small selection of the hundreds of these photographs and talk about the survey and the person who took most of the local ones, Jarvis Kenrick.

Visitors are welcome at any of the meetings for £2 or become a member for £8. Please call our membership secretary, Jenny Clare on 740156 or join on the door.
